    They're the 2 TB Version of these https://www.wdc.com/products/externa...LG0020HBK-NESN LOL, bought both of them off eBay. There's no prep work or anything like that. Just plug and play. Operates like a USB Stick.

    Help with WD Elements


    Hi Dick,

    I want to get an up to date Elements unit and have seen a 2TB USB 2 for sale. It doesn't give any name on the advert. I don't have a USB 3 but a 2 will do me fine. I am not interested in speed. Can you please recommend one you think will do my needs please?

    Again, I'll chime in here. The Elements units are compatible with USB 2 or 3. Mine run on two of the USB Ports on the back of my Desktop.
