Good morning Dick. I re-ran the Verify this morning as last night I had a weird message, something about not being able to find the path for C:/ at the end of the run last night. I should have made a screen shot but it never crossed my mind. I started it off at 7-30 this morning and it ended 9-10am with no weird message at the end, so I guess all is well. It would be great to learn how to set up the Auto verify rather than have to keep running up and down the stairs to check when it has done the job. Am out for most of the day after 1pm, but will give you a buzz when I get back.
    Cheers,
    Ron
Good Morning, Ron. No idea what that message may have been, but it did not repeat, so all is well for now.

I'll put together a quick set of pics for you on how to set the Auto Verify. Quite simple and easy to do. Gotta get a little more awake!

    Talk in a bit....

    @RonBin79

Ron, here ya go. You've already edited your backup definition file before to change it to Monthly, so you should be familiar with how to edit the definition.

These pics are from my machine. I believe the name of your definition file is Monday 5pm backup.

First, open the Macrium program, and click on Backup Definition Files. Right-click your Monday 5pm backup. Click Edit.

    Done!

    WD Elements

    Hi Dick,
Just got in. Had a look at your pics and instructions, job done!! Once again, THANK YOU. I am going to go through all the 30 odd pages we have used posting and print the ones I think will be useful for the future. Thank you very much for all you have done for me, I do appreciate it. I will leave you in peace now for a while but don't think I have gone a way and you will have peace and quiet, like McArthur, I shall return! Thanks again Dick. Take care and look after yourself. To conclude, if you think there is something else I should know about as far as Macrium is concerned, please do let me know. Once I have my new SSD installed, I will alter my Specs accordingly.
Kindest regards and best wishes to you and yours,

MAMC, Yes, you are right. I have enjoyed every minute of it and it has been a great pleasure working with Dick and learning so much, also having some of your advice too. What more could I ask for? No doubt, like General McArthur, "I shall be back".
    Cheers,
    Ron

Those of us watching the story unfold have enjoyed it too. Dick has provided an exemplary demonstration of how really good support should be done and you have shown great patience and an appetite to learn. Congratulations all around.

    "I shall be back"
    I look forward to it.

F14Tomcat, Hi Dick. I was due a backup on the 1st of Aug at 1700, nothing happened until the 2nd but not at 1700. Can you tell me how I make sure I am on GMT and not on your time please, or do I have to set my monthly backup to run at 5pm our time but use your time for the setting, if you see what I mean??

Hope you are fit and well and all is OK.

    Cheers,
    Ron

    Hi, Ron! LTNS!

The time on your machine has nothing to do with the time on my machine. It's determined solely by the settings here on your machine.

Perhaps the Macrium schedule times are not correct? Post a pic of what your scheduled backup settings are, with the times/dates, and I'll take a look.
