That will go for a bit! About your dinner time, if I recall. Just let it be, and pop a note back here when done telling us how long it took and the results.

Reminder: Don't turn anything off or unplug anything till done.....

That probably will do it for today, unless you have something else?

Shall I just leave the Verify running until it has finished its job? No, I was gong to suggest to you that we had an early night tonight. Perhaps next time we could have a go at the Auto Verify? I do appreciate your help and feel it would be great if we could have a wee dram together as they say in Scotland. If you ever come to the UK, please come and visit, it would be great to meet up and exchange experiences, never mind what Donald says...

Yes, please.... just let it be. Post back a quick note when done, if you want to. It'll be a couple hours. Then exit the Macrium program, EJECT the drive and store safely. Otherwise, talk tomorrow....

That's for sure. I've been using MRF since the Win7 and have learned much more on this thread.

Good morning Dick. I re-ran the Verify this morning as last night I had a weird message, something about not being able to find the path for C:/ at the end of the run last night. I should have made a screen shot but it never crossed my mind. I started it off at 7-30 this morning and it ended 9-10am with no weird message at the end, so I guess all is well. It would be great to learn how to set up the Auto verify rather than have to keep running up and down the stairs to check when it has done the job. Am out for most of the day after 1pm, but will give you a buzz when I get back.
    Cheers,
    Ron
