System protection always turns on by itself.

Whenever I turn if off, it is turned on after several days, and the mac usage will become 100%. I am running low of SSD storage. How to keep it disabled?

What method did you use to turn off system protection ?

Did you do it the following way ? ……………..
Search box, enter recovery > click Recovery (Control Panel) > Configure system restore > under Protection settings, click Configure > put a dot at Disable system protection > OK

Might also want to first delete all restore points using the box lower right. Then slide the allotment all the way to the left. Then disable system protection. It will probably prevent it from turning itself back on, if it has no space allocated for it.
