    Macrium Reflect Utility Service

Should Macrium Reflect Utility Service be running in the Free Edition? If not, should I disable it? My KIS18 keeps blocking it as suspicious. The file name is MacriumService.exe and it keeps trying to read memory from other processes.

Yes those services are normal. Yiou can disable them though but without them, you will not be able to automatically backup to a schedule.

What AV package are you using?

I didn't think you could schedule backups with the free edition. My AV is Kaspersky Internet Suite 2018.

Yes! Macrium Reflect Free can be scheduled for backups. I back up my data files full image first Monday of the month and a Diff BK every evening.

I only use MR7 to backup a full image after major updates, new apps. etc. Will I be able to manually do a full image backup if MacriumService.exe is disabled?
