How often do you Verify your Macrium Reflect backup images?

Just wanted to get an idea how often members (and veteran users) of Macrium Reflect check the integrity of their images.

Am almost tempted to not bother checking anymore as it always says everything is okay. Which doesn't surprise me considering how robust of a program it is...

I verify every image when I take it. It's probably not necessary, but better safe than sorry.

Ditto - I have found it so reliable, I have not bothered for years. The verification phase was more important when people burned DVDs as the backup medium.

For HDDs, one never really expects any data corruption or else we would be verifying everything written to the drive.

The amount of time it takes to do the verify when creating a Full or incremental or Differential version is really small. I have it set as an option default so it does it all of the time. But since I've never had a error, I always wonder if there is Repair function if it detects an error ?

I don't too... Instead, I always keep at least two last full backup images.

I set Reflect to auto verify after each scheduled backup. I routinely mount the backup image and peruse a few files to check the image is usable.

    Interesting point...

Also in my experience, when using Macrium to attempt to create an Image from a buddy's PC that we suspected had failing sectors, it actually stopped half way with an error about reading the disk. Point being if there was an issue with a potential image, my guess would be it would probably not complete successfully...
