Macrium: How to download missing updates?

I have the paid version of Macrium 7.1 with Win 10 Pro.

Q1: When I look in Other Tasks > Check for updates, I can see that I'm missing a few updates. But there's no button, or option to "Update now". So, how do I manually update?

Q2: I have "Enable automatic checks for updates" set to once per day. Why am I missing updates?

    Thanks.

The set for once a day will only do that the first time each day, but you know that. If it say there are updates, it should give an option to download now. You may want to consider getting a fresh installer, run it and choose "repair". Sounds like something is amiss in there. Just "repair". It will rewrite it's files and settings, won't delete anything of yours.

    Hi f14tomcat,

    Thanks for response.

    The link points to ReflectDLHF.exe

When I ran this, I got the "Macrium Image Guardian Service" error. Unable to stop service.

There have been dozens of posts on this subject on the Macrium forums for a year. I used the second last post by @nick here:

That works. I'm not a techie, but it seems to me that a quick summary of the procedure is as follows:

    1) Uninstall
    2) Reinstall

    ------------------------------------------------

BTW: I used to test F14 engines in Iran. We had a special TF30 from P&W that we used to "calibrate" our test instrumentation to ensure that our test results always matched P&W's for engines that had been tested in the US. The engine was so reliable and so repeatable that our graphs always plotted exactly on top of each other each time we recalibrated. We were all kicked out after the revolution, but some of those F14s are still flying:

Some of the guys in the Iranian airforce (probably Americans) told us that the Russians actually captured an F14 in the chaos after the revolution. Just walked into the base and flew off with it

Yes, that link is for the offline installer...good for free and paid Macrium. It will insert or ask for product key if needed. The fact it had a "stuck" Image Guardian service kinda confirms what I thought, it was sick down deep.....even an attempt at repair would fail. Blow it away and start fresh, like you wisely did, seems to have put it back on track.

Glad to see you are fixed, now. Cheers! :)

"...Macrium Image Guardian Service..." Guys, Gals, I thought that function only concerns the backup images being protected from deletion until MIGS is disabled temporarily or "forever". Or, am I misunderstanding? And, just before uninstalling and reinstalling, would not the MIGS service have to be disabled first?
