    System Protection in April update

I notice in the System Properties/System Protection it lists "System" under available drives and system protection is turned off for this. (It's turned on for my C drive.)

Should system protection also be turned on for System?

    Hello Nikilet, :)

Usually, "System" is for your Windows C drive like below. Let's see a screenshot of your System Protection to see what the issue may be.

Hmm, I'm not sure why it's listed in System Protection without it having a drive letter.

Mine is the same. My system partition isn't shown (partition 1), C is shown as "System" and my rescue partition called "Rescue" is shown as a folder.

Checking it, It only seems to happen on BIOS (not UEFI systems) and applies to named volumes without letters assigned that are not assigned some OS function (System, Boot, Recovery etc).

Have a look at disk management - I expect the upgrade made an additional system reserved/recovery partition and so the old one is just a partition without letter or purpose.

In any case, no it probably needn't be turned on as it doesn't change.

Before this April upgrade, I don't think that item "System" was showing like that. In any event, I looked in my DM and I don't see anything referred to as just "System" there.

You need to scroll up the bottom half of the disk management screenshot so we can see Disk 0.

While kinda' on the subject, is there any way to take a screenshot that will scroll?
