Windows Backup not seeing drives...
My HP X 360 Envy has an SD drive for C: (boot drive); and a 1TB D: drive (split into 2 drives, one being a Recovery, not visible).
I went into Windows Settings, and selected Backup, then clicked on Add Drive, wanting in this instance to backup the D: Drive to a server in the house. The problem is, it only sees the Recovery Drive, which it shows as "Removable Disk (F)", which it is not a removable drive.
Doesn't see the C: drive; Doesn't see the D: Drive. All this based on Windows Backup.
Now, I also have Macrium Backup (Free version). I see the drives with it fine. But when I try to back up the D: drive to the server, it always fails. The server drive I backup up to is a Storage Space. So I don't know if that failure is due to that server, the 3rd party software or this PC. It fails with a message "Backup aborted! - Write operation failed - There is not enough space on the disk." I am guessing that the backup is needing to span across more than one drive, and isn't able too (I though a Storage Space facilitated that).
I'd be fine to set file backup via Windows to handle the D: Drive, but the above issues are preventing that. I would expect the Windows 10 backup to work, or at least see the drives.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
