I have tried again with no luck . It seems my pc won’t boot from a usb. Really frustrating?

    What options do I have?

I have a 4.7gb dvd. I don’t think that will be enough for an iso.....
I've downloaded the ISO for 1709 x64 (the latest version, the Fall Creators Update). The ISO is for a 3.95GB DVD, so it should easily fit on a standard DVD.

The MCT's 'burn the ISO to DVD' option just opens File Explorer at the folder holding the ISO. You'll need to right-click on the ISO and select 'Burn disc image' to make the DVD (to be sure it was burned OK, click the 'Verify disc after burning' box). I have just successfully burnt the ISO to a standard 4.7GB DVD and booted from it.

I’m just creating it now, then I’ll burn it to a dvd.

Should all pcs boot from a usb?

Yes, but the Asus forums seem to be full of people who seem to find it near-impossible. The DVD should be your easiest option.

I’m all installed and everything is fine apart from I keep getting blue stop code screens. Is there anyway of finding out what it is?

Glad to heard the DVD worked. Sorry to hear you are suffering the Blue Screen of Death.

I'd try the clean install again. If you still have problems after that, there's a forum here specifically to help diagnose BSODs. Read the posting instructions carefully before posting.
