I've tried another time to run backup on Nas, one with ethernet and the other with wifi connection, and both were saved.
But, today, another time by wifi, I get this message on validation:

Backup aborted! - '3B32A5990672B0FD-00-00.mrimg' Verification failed at 0% (Block 502 hash value is incorrect)
    That's very strange.
    What should I check?

That message says that what macrium wrote to the target and a hash value was summed and written, but when the data was read back it wasn't the same as was written. That's the good news about validation.

Recommendation from me would be when running backups, use a wired connection.

That's an interesting point. The ultrabook is new (2 months) and I've never had memory problem...I'll check it.

    Hi,
Yeah stop the test if you get an error after 1-2-3 runs
If no error let it run over night like I believe the tutorial suggests.

Out of the two laptops andtwo desktops, using Macrium Reflect one of our desktops just refused to do much of backupfunction. First, several years ago I boughta Seagate 300-GB hard drive and using one of those el-cheap-o 3.5” Chinese enclosuresand a couple good 2.5” USA made enclosures one of them I can’t get thepartitions right to make a backup. Frustrating but it will just not work. So I use a smaller drive but Reflect issuesan error message, can’t remember it now, but it’s something about the outputpath and output folder. Have to turn iton and try the image backup again to see the actual error.

Guess I’ll never get the partitions right on that hard drive; nothing seemsto work. Maybe I’ll give it to a Russian spy and drive them crazy.

I was trying the MemTest86+ procedure, but when I reboot, the uefi/bios recognizes the usb flash as a uefi boot one, but it also skips it, and Windows starts.

I need some suggestion to make MemTest86+ usb flash stick really bootable on my ultrabook.
