I also have had to use Eset free online scan to get rid of Google/Chrome bundled items.
I got them when I updated Ccleaner and Speccy.

Folowthe below and also delete all of your other search engines except the ONE you prefer most.
Follow the instructions in the thread below, it should help solve your issue.

How is your computer now?
Try backing up your favorites and such and fully uninstall Chrome. Other than that it would be good to know where these infections come from.
Don't just rely on AdwCleaner or Malwarebytes, etc. You need to take more actions.
Go into Chrome settings and see to at least these areas.
1. Clear Browsing data - tick every box, delete the lot.
2. Remove all additional search engines, maybe leave say Google and Bing.
3. See to Tabs, Startup pages etc. I use 'about:blank' on every Browser, a blank page.
4. Privacy and Security, see to it all, don't just leave it.
5. Get rid of syncing, links etc.
6. Change your Browsing, downloading and installing habits, it is not normal to get tons of junk like that
Helmut, you hit the nail on the head.
If one keeps doing the same thing on the internet, one will get the same trash.6. Change your Browsing, downloading and installing habits, it is not normal to get tons of junk like that

Another idea crossed my mind this morning:
Flush your DNS cache and set DNS servers to something reliable, like OpenDNS for instance.
IPV4: 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220
IPV6: 2620:0:ccc::2 2620:0:ccd::2
