    Upgraded W Defender in W10 1709


    As a novice I am definitely qualified in PC security. With the installation of W10 1709 I noticed Defender is supposedly very much upgraded. Question, is the upgraded Defender strong enough to use as my primary security software? I previously had McAfee.

    It works for me. I gave up AVG for Win Defender and saved $$ on yearly license renewal. I also use MalwareBytes (paid version on main PC; free version on Laptop). Many forum members use this combo as well. Some use only Defender.

hello guys how can i turn off all stuff, services related to windows defender with reg key?I have the pro edition, but i dont know if i can turn off completely.:)
Upgraded from 8.1 to 10. is Avast compatible with Windows Defender
in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security

If Avast is not compatible with windows Defender then how can I uninstall Defender? I have used Avast for many years and am more comfortable with it. :)
