    How can I Tell if my Defender is Latest Version


    Yesterday, my PC received updates from MS. I'm curious if Defender was updated to an "improved" version.
    Here's some info about WD as it is now. Thanks:

    antimalware client version: 4.11.15063.447
    Engine version: 1.1.14104.0

    My PC: Toshiba laptop, W10 Creator

    Thanks for the replies. When I try to manually update WD, I get the following message:

    Protection definition update failed
    Error code:-2147023640

Anyone having issue with the latest defender definition, it is stuck downloading at 0 percent for about 20 mins now. I rebooted and tried again, it found the update but still sticks on downloading Definition Update for Windows Defender Antivirus...
Because my main Laptop is having a new SSD installed, I am using my spare laptop which was upgraded to win 10 Version 10.0.10586 Build 10586 but has not been used for almost a year. Windows updates keep failing and I am using up lots of data...
