Sounds like NOD32 has finally found a way to keep others from using your trick to get a 2nd 30-day trial.
In any event, you will know for sure in just 2 more days.

It said 2 days yesterday, and 5 days ago it said 2 days. Its ALWAYS 2 days in Windows, however, open up NOD32 and it says 27 days.
NOD days count down
WIN days stay at 2 days
If you like the program, then pay for it. Since they have found a new way to start locking out those who are using Trialware as foreverware, you need to pay up to use or just stick with Defender and Windows firewall. The newest changes to Defender have allowed Microsoft to start looking at the risk factor of the user still being the number one issue and have updated the engine for Defender.
If that is the case anyone who wants a trial will be faced with this error during their trial and not want to buy the product. I do not feel this was intended by NOD.
ESET NOD32 is not meant to be a perpetually free trial - it's a paid program. It costs them a helluvalotta money to pay their employees to provide that software in the excellent form it is in.
Either buy a subscription or go use another AV that is legitimately free.
Yeah this is pretty much what I expected this thread to boil down to once I opened my mouth. Going all out "dont copy that floppy" on me.
In all honesty, I have converted so many of my clients from their Norton and McAfee subscriptions over to NOD32s that the least they can do is give me a license for the business I have brought them. Therefor I really do not loose sleep over this.
Well, thanks for the suggestions this thread is officially dead.
