Thanks @MoxieMomma I updated the first post(what I could anyhow)
    Finally, a bit of clarification....

1.08.1.2572 is a "reissue" of 1.08.1.2563 to account for the Win10 Anniversary Update & new MS certificates.
    No changes to MBAE itself.

1.09.1.1142, as expected, is a separate, new BETA build for version 1.09.x.

The double release on that date was because we re-created the build using counter-signed digital certificates from Microsoft in order to work with the new anniversary update they just put out. That version of 1.08 has the same features and fixes as the prior build, but just with that counter-signed certificate.

The 1.09 build will be going through more builds of public beta testing. So if you want to test the new builds and give any feedback you can download the latest versions from this area in the forum: <snip>
So it was a bit of a confusing coincidence, especially with no public announcement about the new 1.08 build.

    Hope this helps,
    MM

For those of you having the problem that MBAE service will not start, and it will not open or run, after the Anniversary Update, go to this post at Malwarebytes Forums and download the "build using counter-signed digital certificates from Microsoft"(pbust): MBAE Windows 10 AU - Anti-Exploit Product Support - Malwarebytes Forums

I had the problem in my Windows 10 Insider virtual machine today, and this worked and got it going.

    A wee bit of clarification....

As of late last week, there ought to be no need to visit the "special" box.com d/l link for the most current version of the release build, 1.08.1.2572.
While it *is* (still) available at box.com, it is also available as a standalone from the standard product d/l page for MBAE HERE
It should also be available via MBAE's auto-updater - release may be throttled, so not all users will have received it, yet.

(Normally, the box.com links to "experimental" builds are taken down/disabled, once a release build is available "RTM" via the auto-updater and standalone d/l. I'm not sure why the box.com link is still working. Only the MBAE product team can clarify that.)

At least that is what I found when I checked, just now.

    Cheers,
    MM

P.S. I have not yet updated to AU/Redstone on my Win10 box, but all 3 rigs were offered MBAE 1.08.1.2572 via the auto-updater within the past day or so.

I tried the official one at the download page too, but it didn't work either. The one in pbust's post did though. and that was an hour ago MM. That's why I posted:)

Question for you two on MB
I thought after MB was done testing this MBAE that it was suppose to be added to the MB Anti-Malware app???? Or are they just going to make this app a separate app which has to be bought....I know there are free versions. My MBAM is Pro with lifetime license on 2 computers.

Well, gosh darn it, I stand corrected.
Without Win10 AU on this box (and no VM or test box), I could not confirm the behavior you reported.

Things sure are confusing over at MBAE HQ.
They originally said that x.2572 was the "fix" for the certificate problem for x.2563 with Win10 AU/Redstone.

Now it seems they may have released 2 different builds of x.2572 with and without a fix for the certificate issue?
And the one at the regular d/l page is still the "wrong" one?
That seems VERY odd, but I suppose it's possible (things *do* seem a bit chaotic with MBAE builds for the past few weeks).

    >>I suggest heading over to MBAE forum and sending a PM to @pbust, and/or @RSullinger, pointing them if not to this entire thread, then at least to the last couple of pages...
    >> They may be able to clarify and/or to correct any problems with the available setup files for MBAE 1.08.1.2572.

    Just a thought,
    MM

Does look like MB is not going to add this MBAE to MBAM but I could have sworn that MoxieMomma said they were. ....
