Do the betas give any issues? Is it a cheeky way to get a "free" premium service? Why has it become a premium service?
I have never had any issues. But, you can check their forums - some problems with fresh Windows version 8insider), and ,very old ones (XP)
About betas.. betas are free standalone. Otherwise, it is part of Premium Malwarebytes
It has been part of the paid version of MBAM For a long time now.
The only problem with using the beta MBAE and free version of MBAM is, when you update MBAM it uninstalls MBAE, because it is part of MBAM.
You then need to reinstall MBAE after updating MBAM, that got frustrating for me after a while, so I uninstalled MBAM a couple of years ago, and haven't reinstalled it since.
I just got home from work and turned on the pc, MBAE auto updated:
