I know it doesn't help now, but in the future you may wish to consider making a system image, using either Macrium Reflect Free or Windows Ten built in image maker. This will save you a lot of time & frustration should something like this happen in the future.
Create System Image in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Backup Restore TutorialsA system image is an exact copy of all system disks which can be used to restore your PC to the state it was in at the time the image was made. By default, a system image only includes the drives that Windows requires to run, including Windows 10 itself, your system settings, programs, and files. You may also include any other drive in the image if you wish. When you restore your computer from a system image it is a complete restoration, you cannot choose individual items to restore and all of your current programs, system settings, and files are replaced with the contents of the system image.

Keep the image on an external HDD/SSD/FD and have it hooked up only when making images for storage. Keep several past older images on the drive in case you inadvertently make an image containing malware. (I keep the last 5 on file in addition to the current one).
Some types of malware nowadays will seek out any backup image files & corrupt them. Hence the reason for keeping them on a drive that is not always hooked up to the computer.
