    Safe or Not ? apphostregistrationverifier.exe

I'm getting mixed results as to weather this Win Sys 32 app is safe to keep. Just looking for advice from anyone w/experience on this App.

Its can always check it out by right clicking on it and scan it with your anti-virus.

You can also upload it to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner for scanning.

What is it used for? Can I tell what program is invoking it? Should I let it through my firewall?
Google is not too helpful, or I don't have enough perseverance. Thanks
