A good tool for a complete system inventory, including any missing updates and security vulnerabilities is Belarc Advisor (free).

PSI (personal software inspector) from Flexera, formerly Secunia was once one and only tool for system vulnerability checking. It's not updated so frequently and has a bit more false positives lately, but is still a good choice.

Thank you, additional trial-and-error software for testing this is more than welcome! [emoji41]

Thanks HG. Really, this is HUGE, and I don't think people are taking this seriously enough.

From here: Leaked NSA point-and-pwn hack tools menace Win2k to Windows 8 • The Register

Microsoft reckons it has already patched the exploited bugs except for ENGLISHMANDENTIST, ESTEEMAUDIT and EXPLODINHCAN, which don't work on supported versions of Windows, eg: Windows 7, 8 and 10, and so won't be patched anyway. If you've been keeping up with your Patch Tuesday updates, you should be protected, according to Microsoft.
Make of that what you will.

Hickey said the Windows exploits leaked on Friday could be used to conduct espionage and target critical data in Windows-based environments. Consumers using Windows PCs could be at risk, though experts say these kinds of tools are more commonly used to target businesses.
"The individual consumer is a little less at risk, as these kinds of tools are targeted at enterprise and business environments," Hickey said.
