    Windows 10 Hello + UAC

I am interested in purchasing the Logitech Brio camera to be used with Windows 10 Hello to log me into my machine.

I have never used Hello before so I am curious, can this be used with UAC when prompted for credentials to gain admin rights? In other words, if I login to Windows using Hello and I am later on prompted by UAC when I need admin rights, can I use my face/Hello to authenticate?

Is this possible? This would be cool!

Answering your question No.....Hello is just a biometric means of signing in, an extra safeguard layer to gain access, you will also have to have a pin number for dual authentication.
You could if you wish pass on your suggestion in feedback hub.

My Logitech BRIO camera arrived today and I have it working with Windows 10 Hello.

Turns out you *can* use Hello authentication when you get a UAC prompt.
