    Yes I see that, however things got better betore the 3.0.5 patch. Strange....Question did you download the patch release and install it manually or did you did you download and install from within Malwarebytes. I tried from within Malwarebytes but it could not find any updates.

    I downloaded it manually and then installed it. Had no problems installing it. At the moment, all is working fine, no more pop ups about protection etc. On there forum there is a lot of people still having trouble with the 3.0.5 patch

    I installed MBAM 3.05 today and had the real time protection problem and bad spool header problems. Back to 2.2 and Anti exploit and all is well. Hope they get the problems resolved as I like the all in one MBAM but it was too buggy on my machine.

    Not sure if you did an install over top of 2.2. Delete 2.2 and then try a fresh install of v3 and all should work. You are the first I have heard having problems with 3.05.

    Perhaps have a read here.
    And there is a long list of issues HERE, only some of which were fixed with the 3.0.5 patch build.

    There are really three separate themes with the new product:
    • performance/stability/UI/UX issues (most of which will be resolved eventually, we hope);
    • compatibility issues (ditto);
    • multiple claims about Malwarebytes 3.0's superiority over standard AV products and its suitability for sole protection (for which we await verifiable, credible, outside, independent confirmation).

    I used Malwarebytes clean install tool and then installed 3.05 but the bad spool header errors occurred anyway so I went back to 2.2 and all is well. With 3.05 installed there were also problems with pages loading very slowly. Go figure, but some PCs are just more cantankerous than others.

    Fresh install of Win 10 and the new Malwarebytes 3.05 and I am also having some popups saying Realtime Protection is not enabled.....once I click on enable it seems to run fine......

    Hopefully a few more updates and they will get all the bugs worked out.....

    I was over at Malwarebytes forum and in a Blog comments they had this comment from a staff member this morning.

    Unfortunately the recently released MB3 has a bug with the exclusions. This is one of the reasons we have not enabled auto-upgrades yet for our entire 2.x user-base while we work out this bug asap.
    A member was having a problem where he had set exclusions but they still removed the files.

    So for now you have to get the updated manually.

    I have not had any serious issues running v3.5 on one of my computers (Premium) but I am not going to install latest version on my 2nd computer yet. Still running v2x on that one. Don't know why they are taking such a long time to fix all the issues lots of folks are having.... Still think they rushed this New version out too quickly.
