Now I'm confused, CountMike,. This is a yes or no or I don;t know question and real easy for me to understand:
I use Defender and only Defender on my Insider builds which keep coming just about every week. NO third party AV's. I have used MB and it seems to go fine, but I do uninstall it because I've noticed the new build detects it and will not install. Once installed I re-install MB. This is the PAID version. Since MB is no AV, can I run it along side Defender on these Insider builds? It sure grabs alot of junk off Internet and it doesn't seem to hurt anything. Only thing is Defender has a Ransomeware and so does MB. Hope they are compatible.

Yes MB can run fine as resident and rarely (happened few times) interfere or not work with an insider build. You can also run any "real" AV as long a it's a portable or internet version if you run into problem with WD not being able to clean up properly.

Great. Thanks for the info. Appreciate it very much. Will not use AV. Defender seems just fine. Just need a little help keeping malware out during my travels through Internet.
    Thanks again.

Already made mistake with Bitdefender 2017. Bit support says they don't support beta, which they consider W-10 Insider. Checking for refund.
I see Kaspersky says the same.
I'm a little nervous about just trusting Defender.

your problem is bitdefender 2017, not meant for windows 10 at all. if you actually have a subscription it should upgrade to 2019. if not there is a 90 trial for bdts.

Tried it. Sticking with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. Work great together.
