    It just went up online Mike, perhaps it takes a little while for them to link the update checker to grab it?

    I use an app that updates AdwCleaner when a new version is available:

    Malwarebytes Acquires AdwCleaner-adwcleaner.jpg

    You can see that the new version gets downloaded:

    The program gets the file from this URL:

    Good point, but keeping it updated is important as well and as long as it downloads directly from the homepage, there should be no problems. It can be setup in the firewall to connect only there. I use WRT.

    IT guys are slow. Norton power eraser also fails to update the webpage, it states, that it was last updated in march, but it was updated in may. Though it offers to download the version 5.3.0.81, it says it is 5.3.0.71.
