Storing passwords.

    I think you mean Microsoft word right? I don't have it so I think I'm going to put my passwords into a password protected 7zip archive and onto a usb stick.

    Does 7zip load any opened files into a temp folder?

    Yes, I meant MS Word. Some of those archive utilities have quite good password protection. I can't advise on 7Zip and whether it stores temporary files.
