How to get rid of pop ups

Why do I keep getting the pop up, Saying call a certain number from Microsoft, and I know its not.. How do I get rid of these popups.

It's possible your computer has been targeted with malware. If you haven't already done so, run a full scan with your anti-malware of choice. I'd also suggest running AdwCleaner.

on the ADWCleaner scan. You'll also want to run Ccleaner (free) on your browsers, temp files and registry.

Additional scans may be needed, but that will be a good start.

If still receiving message, after doing all above suggestions next time it appears open Task Manager, under Processes Tab highlight page and click on End Task, then shut down computer.

"Turn OFF router" to disconnect computer from internet.

If it is a page capturer, next time you fire up your router you will have got rid of it.
