    Do you have Chrome [Google] installed? If so it probably wouldn't hurt. I think Windows Security does pretty good for Edge [base on Chromium].

    Research/google info for the extension and make your decision. Opinions vary, my "guess" is the Avast security extension for Chrome is not often used.
