    Probably a bundle program.
BTW, thank you so much, Rubber Ducky!

@simrick What do you think about a thread in each and every part of the forums for "Never Install This on Your Computer"

As if I or anyone else would ever look at it.

They'd probably try to sue TF like they did Bleeping Computer.

From what I read of Rubber Ducky's post, they sue at the drop of a hat. So, I'll probably get sued for removing it from my computer through a clean install!

I think it happened when I was trying to get PDF-Xchange. The name had changed to be PDF-Xchange Editor, and I saw PDF Editor and fell for it, not paying full attention. I know that once I discovered I didn't have Xchange, I uninstalled PDF Editor, but of course, as iSkySoftware planned, it nastiness was left behind.

And then, I made an even worse mistake by just putting Spyware Hunter on my desktop! Sheesh, I feel st00pid! So, now I have a real mess on my hands, but nothing a clean install won't handle. :)
    Did you backup your PC?

This is a first time that I seen a company sued over a bad comment review on their product like common. If the product performs bad, do you expect us reviewers say it good? Then us reviewers will get all the blames and complaints while Spyhunter developers and company laughing at us reviewers.

Just whatever you do, don't make a review of this product unless you have ball to go to the court.

Nah . . . these are test machines, and it's a pretty simple matter to clean install.

However, once the Anniversary Edition is released, I plan on protecting it a little better and will be backing up once before I add apps and programs and then afterward.

I keep all my data files on external drives and also have Office 365 ProPlus (E3 for business), so I plan to get everything over to OneDrive for Business. A terabyte is adequate for what I have, since I don't do music or games on the computer. Both of those things take up a bunch of space.

Putting a clause that you agree not give a bad review in their EULAs is getting to be a real cash cow for a lot of sleazy companies. However, I've learned a lot about the law in the past few years, and I'm pretty sure if I write a letter to the principal (their complaint department) and copy my attorney and a few others, they won't have grounds to sue.

I recommend AOMEI Backupper Standard Free for backup, and also Shadow Defender for cheap virtualization. I can provide you a lifetime key for Shadow Defender if you want.

Best backup & restore freeware for Windows 10, Windows 8.1/8 and Windows 7

Shadow Defender - the easiest PC/laptop security and privacy protection tool

    What is Shadow Defender?
Shadow Defender is an easy-to-use security solution (for Windows operating systems) that protects your PC/laptop real environment against malicious activities and unwanted changes.

Shadow Defender can run your system in a virtual environment called 'Shadow Mode'. 'Shadow Mode' redirects each system change to a virtual environment with no change to your real environment. If you experience malicious activities and/or unwanted changes, perform a reboot to restore your system back to its original state, as if nothing happened.

With Shadow Defender, you have the flexibility to specify which files and folders are permanently saved to the real environment. This ensures important files and folders are kept after a reboot.

If you want to make a maintenance-free computer, Shadow Defender will be your best choice.
