    Solved:Norton connect safe blocks google.com

No matter what browser I use Norton connect safe blocks google.com.
Disabling ESET or Windows firewall brings no solution.

Try these steps to remove Norton Connect.

1 Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2 Type in the following text, and then press Enter.
    ncpa.cpl
3 Right-click the network adapter that is currently active, and then click Properties.
If the User Account Control prompt appears, click Yes or Continue.
4 On the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
    5 Click Properties.
6 To remove Norton ConnectSafe server address settings, click Obtain DNS server address automatically or use the default DNS settings that are provided by your Internet service provider.
If the option Obtain DNS server address automatically is already selected, then Norton ConnectSafe is not in use anymore and no changes are needed.
7 In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, click OK, and then click Close.

Well this does not sound like any Norton problem to me, sounds like something else is blocking Google. I have never seen Norton block Google before anyhow, unless someone adds it to a block list.

What makes you think it is Norton?? You already have said, you have removed Norton Connect, and don't run any other Norton product.

Either your router or your ISP are probably using Norton connect safe service.

Try to setup Google DNS servers in your settings.

You can also try using TOR browser, it connects via proxy, so it should bypass any restrictions.

Open a command prompt ADMIN then type these commands, then reboot, and see if it helped.

    • Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
    • Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
