    I was going to ask if you could disconnect the docking station, detach it from the computer completely, uninstall it if needed, and try the backup again with the Touro directly in the laptop USB port. You seem to have several issues with the docking station.

    I've disconnected and I think uninstalled the docking station, rebooted, connected Touro to the laptop and still get the same result.

    I don't know if this is relevant but in file explorer there are 2 Touro drives, both exactly the same.
