    Lizzy, with everything still disconnected from the lappy,
    go back into the BIOS and try to select the flash drive again.

    You need to have only the flash drive plugged into the lappy.

    Tried that but the Flash drive is not an option although when I go in to the security tab it is showing there!! And I did save and exit. Went back in but sill not showing as an option on first boot screen!Click image for larger version.

    Steps 5, 6, and 7 are important. Make sure you have changed the order of the boot so it looks for the Thumb first.

    Look's to me like the boot order show's the SSD first, not the flash drive.
