I'll post some pics of how to turn it on. JRT (Junk Removal Tool) looks for really obvious dumb software on your system and deletes it. Cleans up the registry entries and makes it all happy. It will create a Restore Point first, which is why we need to turn that on.

    You want to do?

    To set the System Protection:

Click the Action Center (Bottom of desktop next to clock), click settings. In the search box, type PROTECTION, do not hit enter. Click Create a Restore Point.

Wow! You have no notification area icons at all!

Do this, a tutorial to reset them. You will need to reboot as part of the process. Not hard. Shawn has automated it. Notification Area Icons - Reset in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
