IS WINDOW DEFENDER enough for new update from win7.should i put more in it?

It should be enough but you may want to add extra layers of protection (Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit; some form of antiransomware) and, of course, follow healthy procedures when browsing the web, do not open unknown weird emails, etc...

PS - In fact, and despite what some people/sites might claim, WD has gone a long way since its MSE incarnation days. It's actually quite good and really free. Lightweight for the system too.
