Revo Uninstaller Pro, does a MUCH better job....sorry but it does.
But ...its the users choice of course....
Can you show proof of that. What does Revo remove that mb-clean doesn't ?

My test system is being used for other purpose and is still running MB 2.

I was waiting on MB 3 to fix a few bugs before going back to MB 3.

But that is not the question. What does Revo do that mb-clean doesn't ????

Revo will also check for any registry entries that MB added to your registry, and give you the option to remove them. Seeing how the techs at MalwareBytes can't even fix their main program, and are still having problems, plus released version 3.0 too early to the public, in my opinion. What makes you think there MBclean removes ALL traces of its program?? I do not believe it does.. including all the registry entries.

Well I just had a bad experience and caught a very bad nasty(my own fault) from tencent, more about it in this thread: Monster Hunter Benchmark

I used to check everything with MBAM(later MB3) but after the BSODs from MB3 got rid of it.

But after this I realize I can not trust anyone, even a reputable site like GURU3D.

So I remember a post from @MoxieMomma about there still being a possibility to still get MBAM 2.2.1.1043 here: Latest Version of Malwarebytes

How do I install Malwarebytes Anti-Malwa...
    and got it,
it still updates the database and runs scans,
I just needed to make sure I unselected "check for program updates when checking for database updates", now I already feel a bit safer again:)

If you are NOT having any problem with MB3 stay with it, it scans much faster, and offers better protection. I only had to get rid of it, because of BSODs not related to rootkit scanning(most probable cause my overclock), which I had turned off, as my UEFI/BIOS settings protect me from them

I had mbm 3 running nicely for a couple of weeks with no issues then suddenly modules stopped working so had to go back to 2. I can't rely on 3 to keep me safe. So I'll either stick with MBM 2 for now or find an alternative.

    upgrade

Anyone getting Malwarebytes 2.....trying to shove 3 down your throats tonight? I'm getting an upgrade rotation that won't stop.

I tried on two other machines lappy 14393 and 15061 no problems. I must have a registry snafu I would think so will do some hunting, maybe a restore or use a image I took Sat.

I just tried updating my free v2 and it didn't try to hit me with v3. Do you have this setting unchecked?
