No sorry Kado I didn't do that as it started working just after you first posted it up.
Would rather leave it set for their best options as determined by MB3 but would like it to work better.
I'll give it a go before I get my new protection software set up.
Thanks for post reminding me again.
I've searched the Internet but not found much on this problem. I've told Malwarebytes that I'm trying a test with the Shadow Defender (SD) program disabled to see if that is causing MBAM 3 to deactivate the license back to the free version somehow but I won't know for a few days. Since MBAM often checks into the activation servers to see if the license is legitimate, like when it applies updates, this could be when SD interferes, although I only do updates when SD is in normal mode. It could be that MBAM checks in some other time while the computer is in Shadow mode. I never had this problem though with MBAM 2.0. As with your problem, it appears that for whatever reason MBAM 3 does not play nice with other malware and security programs as 2.0 did, despite Malwarebytes' claims.
MB 3 Beta Preview released to fix some of the problems.
Beta / Preview of next 3.0.6 update - Malwarebytes 3.0 - Malwarebytes Forums
The fixes included are:
- Fixed issue with imaging programs (such as Macrium Reflect) where large artifact files were left in the System Volume Information folder if a backup is created with anti-ransomware protection enabled
- Fixed problem where Web Protection fails to start properly
- Fixed problem where Web Protection detections were failing on Windows 10
- Fixed problem where Web Protection did not show the proper block page when Bitdefender 2017 was also installed
- Fixed an issue where certain drivers were not stopped and unloaded in Free mode
- Fixed memory leak
- Improved overall malware detection and remediation

Just DL'd and installed on Insider 15031. Seems fine and all came up ok on restart, no surprises. Scans a bit faster.
Finally got the guts to make a final decision on MBAM. After months of messing around with problems, system slowdown, etc, while using it, I am tired and frustrated. For me it's not worth my time and effort and this is my point to move on. I am uninstalling it and not looking back even tho I have 3 lifetime licenses. Good luck to you folks who are continuing to use it - I hope it eventually works out for you, but my life is too short to continue problems I can avoid. Bye, bye MBAM.
Well like TC wrote earlier, this latest beta is running ok, for me on Windows .693, no major issues for me. I have been playing with OC'n my computer, and that can affect MalwareBytes a little. But this version is a lot better than the last release for sure. :)
