As I no doubt mentioned in my 'hello' post, I uh... need to streamline if I can.
Currently I used Spybot, and CCleaner, and Avast ...and would like to know while turning to Malwarebytes as an alternative, what do I get rid of?
What really amazed me during my initial search about all these processes Avast has running all the time, was sincere talk about relying on Defender and Malwarebytes alone. How do I tell Defender, "Okay- it's all you!" ? I usually terminate as much of Avast as I can while doing installs, and Windows goes bananas. Is Malwarebytes then to become the utility that I scan downloads with? I mean that I scan everything before it's installed. Games are what I'm talking about primarily - but there are other clients also.
I somehow get the sense that this is in the wrong place. =/
