    Hello Shawn:

The Malwarebytes Program Manager for the MB4 product has made a minor correction to today's earlier beta push notification:

Instead of 4.4.4.130, the version number has been corrected to 4.4.5.130

    ----------------------------------------------

    @OldMike65

That version, your .png carefully documented in your well received post, has not been available lately. Yes - I closely noted your MB4 install uses the word "update" and that it checked today at 4:04 AM. I unofficially submit that your computer was unsuccessful in contacting the then designated Malwarebytes' CDN Edge Server (AWS) and that your MB4 inaccurately represented that installed version as an update.

If we accept that your computer is using the time of the U.S.A. EDT zone, and that the computer's hardware/software clocks accurately adhere to U.S. EDT, that update check would have occurred many hours before today's beta was pushed/announced. Yet even so, your computer's MB4 install should have at least had version 4.4.4.126 - CU 1.0.1413 offered/downloaded/installed if your installed MB4 is not set to participate in beta testing. If that computer is set to participate in beta testing, will a manual app update show what's in today's beta announcement?

If you manually request a MB4 application (not database) update check now, does your installed MB4 version update?

Please note well that I do not believe your computer nor its MB4 install corrupted, etc.

    Thank you

3rd I live in Maine and am on EST zone. There is nothing wrong with my MB version runs just fine....As of right now there is no update of any kind .....MB says I am up to date.

Did you mean 128, versus 228?

Also, the last post form Erik is the 126 that Mike posted above.

Mike, he's saying the version that you got is not the one that was being distributed, and that the version that *IS* being distributed is a different version number. That's all.

The reason he said that is in the link I posted above - it was posted over 2 weeks ago in the forums.

That version, your .png carefully documented in your well received post, has not been available lately.
Though no official announcement has been made about a version any newer than what you're on so you should be perfectly fine.

Since you waited until it notified you, though, that's probably the reason it took so long to get pushed out to you. As you said - nothing t o worry about, it's all working the way it's supposed to.

Then your installed MB4 should now have updated to 4.4.4.126 - CU 1.0.1413. If this is true, then I too believe your MB4 is very likely okay. Yet an unknown period of disconnect with the Malwarebytes CDN seems to have existed and that condition historically is not uncommon.

    Cheers

126 instead of 228. My typo mistake.

Between Erix and me we had two (2) typos.

    Thank you, John!
