Latest Version of Malwarebytes

I`m sticking with the free version 3.8.3, it does what I want it to do, and I only use it to scan certain places now and then.

I was waiting for the Release notes from Erix in the normal thread, and it dawned on me it's a version jump. Notes are in new thread on MBAM:

My paid for "for life" MBAM version updated today to Ver. 4.3.0.98 and not to the version you show of 4.4.0.117.
Can you give me a steer on why that might be TC.

4.4 is still a beta version so unless you are receiving beta updates you won't have it yet.
