    Hello @1PW,
Thanks for the update and taking time to keep us updated, it is very much appreciated.
I, and the other volunteers and staffers from the Malwarebytes forum, are always thankful for the kind words Paul.

    Thank you kindly.

MBAM has the most efficient auto-update of any app I've ever seen!
Absolute truth. Those fellows are on the ball, and it is certainly appreciated.

Now, if only MS, would step it up a bit. But they're okay.

After updating to 1.0.1273 I am getting a FP on file PE_Rom.dll in Windows folder. I found it is due to a new experimental option that was turned on in error. Turning it off and all is clear.

Thank you for the heads-up, Phone Man.

I've had that feature toggled on for months, and have not experienced your issue.

But will know what to do, should it arise.

    Thanks again.

Just so I'm clear, this option is "experimental"? I, too, have had it toggled on for quite a long time, maybe since it was first available. I am running Beta, as I have been for a long time.

Over the weekend on the Malware Forums one of the staff members remarked that the option was experimental but I can't find that post. A recent post said that PE_Rom.dll has been whitelisted but I was still getting the FP. I found a note in another post to clear the HubbleCache and now my system is clear with this option turned on.

Lots of FP's reported on MB Forum over the weekend and they are working them.

I am now a happy camper.

Thanks, Jim, for the explanation. I'll follow the "hubble" task, and turn the option back on.
