    Hi,
Three activation are supposed to be allowed on a single license
MBAM clean should reset the activation count it's all that mbam keeps track of pretty weird policy but it is what it is not really false advertising.

That is not correct and why people are having a hard time now.
One lifetime license = One Windows computer at a time. When reformating or replacing the computer you must DEACTIVATE either in the program or on the My Malwarebytes portal first.

    Hi,
Last time I had an issue with the key which was mid last year.

I stopped activating mbam because of the activation count getting over three times just by clean installing 10 so much without using mbam clean first

It's really a stupid activation policy on both sides
    1) having to use mbam clean in the first place
    2) allowing multiple activations on the same key

They really need a better way to keep track of installs surprised they don't.

If one has a issue or many issues recovery can't be used or mbam clean eventually they'd have to contact mbam to reset the keys count which yes I've had to do that a few times

Malwarebytes | My Account to manage you account and keys. Can use the account to deactivate you key if you cant ont the computer or forget.

As for mbclean it has been replaced by Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
It is much better and can actually repair installs insted of just uninstalling and reinstalling.

That has always been my understanding of the lifetime licence.

Which they freaks out windows defender because it can't read mbam is On :/

Recommended on action center settings don't work like win-7
