    I just checked for updates and nothing happened. Component stayed at 1.0.508

    I use the free version and I don't recall ever seeing a notice from them.

    Go to :

    Settings

    Applications:

    Make sure both boxes are highlighted for automatic downloads and notifications when they are available


    Install Application Updates


    I don't recall ever receiving a notice of new updates.
    I just check it every couple of weeks when I run Malwarebytes, or get lucky with an updated post from here.

Hello. Windows Defender did something nasty to my machine and now I cannot access the Internet through any browser although my system shows I have connection. Just get the nutty "This webpage is not available" with "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"....
