I think iobit is spying one me, I just typed a detailed post, and suddenly it vanished!! Try again:

Thanks guys for all the eye opening info. I still have the MWB licence somewhere and I binned Kaspersky because it let in some bugs which I think might have been responsible for the breakdown of windows when 1709 was going in. The shop that fixed win 10 put in a 12 month AVG Internet Security, and thats whats running now. Shame really, the KIS 2018 was a two year 10 machine version, so money lost and friends have it and are happy so I will let it run out. Iobit Antimalware Pro is also in the machine, which didnt interfere with anything, but will have to remove that. Oh damn, a lot of work here.

ASC11 has been removed, as has iobit Malware Fighter and Iobit Uninstall. I have informed iobit and asked for partial refunds. I have installed geeks uninstaller, which seems to be an excellent programme, and reinstalled MWB pro. What helped me make the decision was that iobit blatantly lied to me when I had the conflict with MWB but all good now.

Considering I have a lifetime license for MBM and the competition dont offer that, I think Ill stick with MBM.
Yeah, I have a few machines with lifetime licenses before the new model went into effect, and I'm holding on to those for life (pun intended).

Anything IObit has lost a place on my computers long time ago, it has so much trash and potentially dangerous stuff.
    Agreed.

Lol - work well worth the effort. And, no, I don't believe that they can cause posts on forums to disappear, that was more than likely caused by the web page refreshing for whatever reason.

    Good decision.

If you need help, reply back in here or head over to the MB forums and post there.

One thing I highly recommend you do is to let MB perform a threat scan ASAP.

You need to do a licence removal on the old system before applying it on the new one.
