Malwarebytes posted that CU 1.0.261 was being released to the production channel. I notice I got updated to CU 1.0.262 but I am still getting the Beta updates.

Nothing about CU 1.0.262 on MB site.

    Jim
I did a manual check for updates this morning, and it updated to the version you posted. Thanks for the heads up Jim :)
I am not getting their Beta's either.

That will probably happen after a few days of telemetry gathering on the new CU by thistle who have opted in a ẞeta testers (like me).

I haven't had a chance to test on the laptop where u first encountered the AE error yet, but on my cleanly installed desktop, MB3 and Office 2016 are posting perfectly fine together.

I just checked my desktop, and the CU is also at v1.0.262.

Currently working on another laptop (massive infection, took a lot to get it cleaned) so I cannot check the laptop yet.

The latest installer now shows the versions of the 3 engines in the installer's name:

    https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3/

The installer from there is mb3-setup-consumer-3.3.1.2183-1.0.262-1.0.3374 DOT exe

Note: Update package (the third number in the filename above) will only match after installation until the first update is successfully run, so don't expect that number to necessarily match on existing installs

FWIW.....latest MBAM beta update package shows 1.0.3421. Have to have that option turned on.
