    A note from MB Staff.

There is a known problem with Malwarebytes 3.2 not running in Vista 64, we know the cause and expect to have a release to address it shortly.

In the meantime we recommend Vista 64 users to stay on version 3.2.1 of our product for the time being.
Thank you so much for your patience .

I always had free version (2.2.1.1043 presently) but on second computer I accidentally installed Pro 3.2.xx. After it expired it offered me to make into free edition. It doesn't look like 2.2.1. at all, does it do anything differently than v2 ?

I don't think the free edition does much different.

MB 3.2 has a lot of internal improvements that should improve detection and protection even in the free version.

Would you happen to know why it seems, in 3.2, that the Heuristics scan seems to finish in virtually zero time? I mean goes from the File System > Heuristics > Finished in .05 nanoseconds!

I just noticed that on a scan I just did. Have to ask over at MB Forum.

I notice that on a scheduled Threat scan the Heuristics scan takes just a few spins of the icon but on a manual scan set at high priority it takes a lot longer and looks normal.

Do you see this on a manual scan or just on a scheduled scan?

I opened a thread at MB.
