    Major bug in MB Beta.
    On some systems it is causing a very long shutdown.
    They have duplicated the problem and working on a fix.

    Did anyone else buy a lifetime license before they stopped it? if so have you ever had the problem that you can't activate MBM because the activation limit has been reached on your so-called lifetime license?

    Yes, same thing has happened to me. After emailing them (MalwareBytes) unless you bought your lifetime license from them, they won't reset your MB. If you did buy it from them, they Will reset your license.

    They did reset it last time but so far they've not responded to my mail. I'm getting a bit annoyed at this so called lifetime license because I format whenever there's a major build release. Might have to look elsewhere if they don't respond this time.

    They will respond as they always reply back to me. :) I have the same issue as you too. After doing a clean install, this happens. If you deactivate your MB BEFORE doing the clean install, and then reactivate your license, this issue should not happen ....I've been told....

    @Brink

    Shawn, the link to the MB-Clean program in post#1 is broken. Gives this:

    Latest Version of Malwarebytes-2017-08-01_16h55_36.png

    Correct link can be found in the Release Link you have to a newer version.

    Malwarebytes Support Tools - Malwarebytes 3 - Malwarebytes Forums

    Correct link is:

    https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean

    I needed it to undo the MBAM Beta that broke, and auto-reinstall 3.1.2

    That's the strange thing, I haven't. The only thing I might've done is installed it on second machine absentmindedly.
