My "free" 3.4.4.2398 is threatening to be obsolete in an hour, Wonder what will happen than. Will it stop working or what ? I have no need for payed, Premium version and use it only for manual checks when I suspect something or before regular system backups.
It will revert to the free version.

Malwarebytes has released 2 new Betas. They are extensions for Chrome and Firefox to block the bad guys in the Browser.
I have been testing them for a while and looking good. I also have Malwarebytes Premium and Norton Security and no conflicts.

    I have a strange problem:
In Google Chrome v 66.0.3359.117(Official build) (64-bits) I have startup crashes in the plug-ins at startup of Chrome.
This happens when Malwarebytes Premium v3.4.5.2467(342) is NOT started !!!
After starting Malwarebytes Premium this problem is gone.
But when I disable Google Chrome protection option in this running Malwarebytes I get this problem again.
The problem happens again after enable Google Chrome protection option.
I am running this in a fully updated W10 home 1709.

By the way, this problem occurs also with Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit 1.12.1.67 beta.

Where can I tell Marwarebytes about this bug ?

You could post on the Malwarebytes Forum https://forums.malwarebytes.com/inde...ogin&fromreg=1

Have you done a scan to check for nasties? It seems very strange that the problems happen when MB is not running. I would also wonder whether my chrome installation was corrupted.

I've been testing them since they were released to closed ßeta testing a couple of months ago. At first the Chrome extensions was causing me huge slow down issues on launch, but the Firefox addon has been working flawlessly.

The last round of updates (I'm presuming that they occurred either right before or right after both went public ßeta) have made them less disruptive, by far - Chrome now normally opens on startup instead of taking 15-20 seconds to load a page upon initial startup.

The beta Malwarebyte's extension, is there any way to know what it's doing? It displays numbers on each webpage as though it is blocking something.

I imagine it works very similarly to adblock extensions. If you google, how does adblock work, there should be some useful articles.

I tried then uninstalled the Malwarebytes addon, as it kept msn.com from loading at all
