Windows 10: Latest Version of Malwarebytes
-
simply wait for the next release of malwarebytes (that would be v3.3.2). the current version is still 3.3.1.

Hmmm ... My paid Malwarebytes 3 will all protections on, updates and runs everyday at 7:00 AM and I haven't seen this issue.
Malwarebytes Version - 3.3.1.2183
Component Package Version - 1.0.262
Update Package Version - 1.0.383
-
The newest version is now out and fixes the issue of RAM.

Only happens when actively running - so just updating probably wouldn't see anything.
But I'd open it and check for updates again....they just recently (within 30 min) pushed out a new update....

Nope - not a program version increment, but a component increment, specifically, the Update package, now updated to 1.0.3803

You got lucky then.
And the latest Update package version is 1.0.3803, so might want to update before it hits you (unless that was a typo - which means you're already fixed)....

Well, yes, except a lot of users are now reporting Web protection is turned off.
(I suspect most of them don't have the update though).

Yep, typo .. it's 1.0.3803

Web Protection off caused by a bad update and also caused very high CPU/Memory usage.
Problem fixed a few minuets ago with update 1.0.3803.
After getting update you need to quit MB and restart it.

Odd, my update shows 1.0.3806. . . free version, though.

Note: I didn't run it yet, I just updated it. . .
Updates to the database come out several times a day. 3803 or greater is fixed.
So, just wondering, do you think there will be any residual effects to a system that was left on all weekend with this problem?
