    Good morning.
I would have a question: is the new version 3.3.1 reported by the previous 3.2.2, or should you uninstall it and install the new one?
    Thank you.
You should be able to install the latest over 3.2.2 without uninstalling first. Before you do that try pressing the "Install Application Updates" button on the first settings page.

    Thanks a lot.
I will wait for the program to notify me of the new version.

I will wait for the program to notify me of the new version.
Usually with major new version releases, we roll them out to users gradually as not to bog down our servers too much and also in case there turn out to be any bugs we didn't spot during testing so that fewer users end up being affected should we end up having to pull the build and push out a patch. Eventually you would have received a notification about the new version. It would have downloaded the installer during an update and you would have seen a tray notification from Malwarebytes telling you that the new version was ready for installation, prompting you to proceed with the upgrade.
That's only for full version releases though. We often release what are called component updates or "CU" which go out silently and install automatically without any notifications or prompting. CU packages allow us to update individual components of the product without having to push out a full installer when we have fixes and/or improvements for an individual module in the product such as one of the protection components. When one of those is installed it changes the "Component package version" info which is one of the items listed in the "About" tab in the main UI.
I would suggest just downloading the new version.

Just download the latest installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3
Run the installer on top of your existing product. No need to uninstall. Restart after.

    Thank you for the explanation.
If I do not see any notifications in the next two or three days, I will install the new version directly.

Lol. Yeah, I noticed that after seeing the thread in the Security sub-forum. I just never went looking because I rarely had any questions about my security, especially being an old user of MBAM and a few other of MB's products....

    Beta Component Update 1.0.261 released.

    https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/215970-malwarebytes-component-update-10261/

We just posted a new component package update to the beta channel: 1.0.261

If you are running Malwarebytes 3.3.1 and have opted in to receive beta update, then you'll get this update automatically.
Here's the list of items addressed:

    • Fixed issue where “Updates not current” notification would display when PC wakes from sleep
    • Fixed a compatibility issue between exploit protection and Office applications
    • Fixed issue where Web Protection could fail to start in 3.3.1
    • Fixed issue where mbamtray app would show in Alt+Tab list with Windows Classic theme
    • Fixed issue where killing mbam or mbamtray from Task Manager would cause CPU to spike
    • Numerous improvements for Chrome remediation and synching
    • Added new Quick Tour for Premiums users
    • Lots of other miscellaneous defect fixes

You can also grab this latest beta component package manually by clicking Install Application Updates in Settings > Application.

Malwarebytes posted that CU 1.0.261 was being released to the production channel. I notice I got updated to CU 1.0.262 but I am still getting the Beta updates.

Nothing about CU 1.0.262 on MB site.
