No problem Barnaby :) Just so you know in the future, the latest version will always be posted in THIS thread. Just go to the very 1st page of this thread to find the download link. :)

    TOTAL SUCCESS.

That downloaded installed over the top kept all my details and the little red triangle has gone, great.

Thanks for the heads up re the downloads, not sure why it doesn't do it from within my MB as it is set to update?

    Regards

Hello 1 further point ref MB.

The early publicity said it could run aside virus progs, is that the case with this version?
I've previously run AVG Security along side MB for years without any trouble.
I read on here that there is some suspicion that MB IS now a virus checker complete.
As I am about to change my virus prog that would be worth knowing, no sense in buying something additional if MB will do it all.
I have purchased the MB never ending Premium version.

Malwarebytes say that it will run alongside other AVs. I don't think they have started supplying updates automatically until all problems have been worked out.

About a week ago 3.0.6.1469 was considered "good enough" and was released to auto-update but would take a few weeks before it was available to everyone. You need "Check for Program Updates turned on".

I don't think it is "good enough" for my systems so I went back to MB 2 until they fix the remaining problems.

In other words they were trying it on a few people to see what problems that gave.

Mmmmnnn gone from to and back to .
Each morning on power up of my pc the red triangle is displayed on the task bar icon. the 2 services RPC & WMI are both running.

I have to turn off MB and then back on again then turn on the web protection and all is good until the next day switch on.

Seems maybe too much is happening when I power on each morning as first thing is AVG does a scan and I wonder if this is causing the issue, if so any idea how I overcome this and make it automatic.

There is an option to delay the start of real time protection. I'm not sure how long that delay is but it may help with any clash with Avast.

There is a setting in our MB that may help you at bootup. It might help ....or not. We have to remember that we still have a few issues with this latest release. Take a look at the screenshot, and try turning that option on, to see if it helps you, or not.

Ah yes. I looks like you can delay for up to 3 minutes.
