    For BETA testers. Malwarebytes for Windows v4.5.21.231-CU 1.0.1888 BETA is available. (20-January-2023)

    What’s New in this Beta:

      • Scheduled Scans to only take place if the computer is idle at the scheduled time.
      • Prompt Users to scan new downloaded items.
    • Improved Performance.
      • Monitor Applications with a high startup impact on the User's System.
    • Improved Security Advisor Notifications.
    • UI background improvements.
    • Improved Multilanguage support.
    • Improved Updating functionality.
    • Improved Detection and Remediation.

    Some Issues now addressed:
    • Fixed: Created Scheduled scans will remain in the table when the MBAM License will change from Premium or Trial to Free.
    • Fixed: Scheduled scan created during installation has no populated 'Starting on' or 'Frequency' fields.
    • Fixed: Global detection counts API returning SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.
    • Fixed: AE driver cannot handle MBAMService crash in case of existing AE injection.
    • Fixed: Malware.Exploit.Agent.Generic displayed for AE quarantined item.
    • Fixed: AE blocks control.exe to control.exe to rundll32.exe.
    • Fixed: MS Outlook and Outlook express not displayed in AE protected application list after MBAM upgrade.
    • Fixed: Delay in loading hyperlinks in Chrome.

    Careful. It turned off ransomware protection and I can't turn it back on.
